The Ventura County Fair announced that the dates for the 2008 Ventura County Fair will be Wednesday, July 30 through Sunday, August 10.
“When summer is upon us it is time for the Ventura County Fair to begin,” said Bob Guillen, president of the Fairgrounds’ Board of Directors, “we want everyone to enjoy the opportunity to attend the Fair and continue Ventura County’s biggest family tradition, full of fun, learning and excitement.”
The Ventura County Fair highlights the county’s history, culture and agriculture, providing hands on learning experience for young and old, helping to develop a strong sense of community while promoting agriculture at the same time.
This year the Ventura County Fair is celebrating it’s 133rd year. The 12 day Fair kicks off in July with attractions including farm animals, fireworks, interesting exhibits, competitions and displays to entertain all fair enthusiasts as well as performances by some of the biggest names in entertainment. Midway rides, games of skill and mountains of mouth watering food are on tap at the 2008 Ventura County Fair; July 30 through August 10.
