Costumed Race is Fun for Everyone
The Ventura County Fair and Altitude27 have announced that they are seeking runners and walkers to participate in the 2nd Annual Ventura County Fair 2 mile Run & Walk. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all abilities are encouraged to participate in this fundraiser.
Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes that are inspired by this year’s Fair theme, “Western Nights and Carnival Lights” and awards will be given to the best-dressed.
Awards will be given out for the fastest time in each five year age group. Gather a group of friends or the whole family and walk or run together. There’s even a centipede race, in which 5 people start and finish the race together. Get healthy and have fun at the same time!
Make sure you stick around to watch the Ventura County Fair Parade, starting at 10am, and then go to the Ventura County Fair to make a full day of fun.
