Children on ponies and big ears on bunnies; Bright colored flowers and clowns that make funnies; Turkey and pig races for all to see; That’s why the county fair’s special to me.
Triple scooped ice cream and pink cotton candy; Rodeo riding and woodwork that’s handy; Palm trees that blow in the breeze from the sea; That’s why the county fair’s special to me.
Families with children and grandparents gleaming; Memories made while the summer sun’s beaming; Sparkling carousels go ‘round with glee; That’s why the county fair’s special to me.
When the day ends, When the fun stops, When we have to leave, I simply remember it’ll be back next year, And then I can be happy.
