Read and Ride

DEADLINE:
July 1, 2026, 11:59 p.m.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read four books, approved by your teacher.
  2. Write a brief summary of each of the books.
    • Grades K-3 = 1 to 3 Sentences
    • Grades 4-8 = 4 to 6 Sentences
  3. Complete this form with all the student’s information and summaries to earn ride tickets, compliments of the Ventura County Fair.

ELIGIBILITY

  • All children in kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to participate.
  • Form must be e-signed by the child’s parent or guardian. 
  • TEACHERS: To enter an entire class or group of students, please email: readandride@venturacountyfair.org.

TICKET PICK UP

  • Tickets will be available for pick up from the Ventura County Fair Main Office in July.  An email will be sent with details.

PRIVACY

  • Due to privacy issues, book report form must not include child’s address or phone number.
