ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Working on Hobbies and collecting unique items serves a wide range of purposes and functions. Hobbies and Collections train the eye, create a sense of order, and help develop aesthetic appreciation. Hobbyists and Collectors can be characterized by their joyful dedication to their projects. The world of hobbies and collections can be social when hobbyists and collectors share their pleasure with each other and their neighbors and friends. The Ventura County Fair offers the pride of showing and the pleasure of seeing others’ hobbies and collections, as well as an opportunity to exchange experience and advice. Who knows?
